I have a boil and from research I know that it is best to treat it with a warm, moist towel. However, I want to know, is hotter better? Is it better to have a towel that is as hot as I can handle it rather than just warm? And should I keep it on for as long as possible? Or is it better to put in on and then take it off after 1/2 hour?
What I have myself doing is filling a metal water bottle with hot water, soaking a towel in water and the wrapping the water bottle in the wet towel and placing it against the boil.
Are the methods I am using best?
Thank you for any help!!
boil hot water pour into a safe bottle hold over the boil and it will burst right in to the bottle and you might have to do it a few times
